Hubert Scheibl
Hubert Scheibl studied from 1976 to 1981 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Max Weiler and Arnulf Rainer. In the 1980s he was a member of the Neue Wilden group. He is one of the most important Austrian representatives of abstract painting. He has received international exhibitions, the 1985 Biennale of São Paulo and 1988 Biennale di Venezia. Hubert Scheibl lives and works in Vienna.
