Christian Hutzinger

Christian Hutzinger's (* 1966 in Vienna, Austria) painting moves in the field of tension between abstraction and objectivity. He gives his work a very formal, reduced and ornamental character and creates a formal vocabulary that results from a fusion of personal memories and general associations with the digital sign language of media reality. He transfers motifs reminiscent of molecular or architectural elements or everyday objects, bringing them into a completely new context through collages.
